We need to wash clothes! - Samsung washer n dryer

We are a busy family with 4 children at home and a professional dad who works many hours. I have severe ankylosing spondylitis (arthritis in my spine) and severe rheumatoid arthritis and loading up clothes for my large family and carrying them to who knows where to wash them and then bring heavy wet clothes home to dry is NOT an option. We have a Samsung large capacity top load washer purchased from Lowe's and we were very happy until it died. Unfortunately, at this point, the washer is still covered under the extended warranty until November 2014. My husband called for service and Alabama power was contracted to do the work. He called during a weekend and the first service call could not be done until Friday (1 week without clothes for 6 people).

The repairman was nice and good and honest. The problem was my circuit board and they did not keep them in stock. He ordered it and said it would be 5-7 more business day before he could come back. They would call when Birmingham got the part and "schedule" the return. No one called. Friday is July 4th and is a null day. Today, July 3rd, my husband called and the part is in but Friday is the "only" day the repairman is in my area.

So the 4th means 2 weeks without clothes for 6 people and next Friday makes 3 weeks without washing clothes. So much for the 5-7 business days in addition to the original 5 business days it took to get someone over the first time.

Thanks a lot, the next appliances will be bought somewhere else. Unfortunately this is not the first time we've been really upset with the time it takes Lowe's to "get a repair person to our area".
