    Lowe's utilizes 3rd party vendors who may or may not be in direct communication with you and/or Lowe's regarding your purchased items. Lowe's does not advertise a backordered item, so the item and time line you are given for product shipment/tracking and delivery will not be accurate. I placed an order June 30 with a guaranteed delivery within 14 days. After 10 days I had not received a tracking number.   • Delays in Kobalt Tool delivery (ordered online)

    On July 7, I ordered online a Kobalt 80v Max hedge trimmer. I had to PAY ONLINE to order. Delivery to store was supposed to be July 17. On July 17, store called and told me it would be July 29. I checked July 29, and was told that it was to have been MANUFACTURED by July 29 and I would have it by August 4. It is August 4.   • Delivery of oven to my home

    I would like to give high praise for the two gentlemen who delivered my new oven to my home. Their names were Kenneth and Derrick. This delivery was not an easy one because of the nature of my house. The house was built in 1759 and they were very careful with the delivery and installation of the stove. They were very courteous and respectful - and very pleasant despite the problems my kitchen presented.   • Lowes poor customer service and communication

    I ordered a custom entry door from Lowes Bethlehem store #1867 on 1/22/2017. The installer came out to measure the door prior to placing this order. The first date for the door installation was cancelled by the installer on the morning he was scheduled to come. I took a vacation day to be home for this installation.   • Lowe's flooring installation--Gulf to Bay, Clearwater

    After the horror of a water leak and a few weeks of getting quotes and measurements from 3 different companies, we chose Lowe's to install ceramic tile in our house. I loved how Terry, David and Cody helped us choose materials and were able to explain the difference in each when asked.     Lowes in Sulphur Springs Texas has a store manager that fires disabled employees. Lowes has always be supportive of employing disabled employees. However, the current manager apparently does not understand the disability and attempt to accomodate that disability within the limits of the diagnosis.     Recent purchase of Samsung dryer included 3 year service contract.   • Great in-store product help. Miserable post sale support and delivery

    My wife and I spent over $2,000 at the Howell MI store on Sunday (May 28th) for a new refrigerator and dehumidifier. The in-store help was wonderful with a knowledgeable and courteous sales staff and friendly cashiers.     all of the internet says that Kobalt is made by Lowe's. Lowe's have several products on the shelfs, but not all of them, and why. If you are going to sell products, why have some of them and not all of them.     The Lowes stores in our area are wonderful, with each salesperson more helpful than the next. The problem starts when you have a problem with an appliance you purchased. The service department seems to have a problem hiring reliable repair companies to work with them.     I purchased both a fridge and dishwasher Mar 18. The salesman was very professional and nice. He went to the back and verified both items were in stock and ready to deliver. The fridge arrived as promised on the 19th. The DW folks were supposed to call us by the following Tuesday (3/21) regarding installation.     Owensboro Lowes has THE WORST customer service. Walked around for 30 minutes looking for an employee to simply ask where to find something that we could not find. Apparently nobody works there because we could not find an employee ANYWHERE! We pressed the call button several times and no one came to help.     On March 12th I placed an order for a pick on at a Lowes location. The website said pick up would be available on march 17th. On the 17th, the website said the order was ready for pickup. I called the location to verify the order was ready. The order was not only not ready, but it was on back order and no one cared to call me.     I called the Lowes in Renton, WA at the Landing to see what size boxes Lowes has to offer. Throughout this process, I was put on hold by the operator for 15 minutes. I ended up hanging up and calling back.     Beware of the reviews that are posted on the Lowe's site ! I have submitted two (mediocre) reviews to the Lowe's site regarding the lack of oil plug at the bottom of my Bolens mowers.     I spent $1300. for porch blinds. from W.Waters Tampa Location. First the blind store expert mixed up my whole order between loop chains & wands for the same 5 panel install.     Went into the store in Wallingford because online thee store was supposed to have two washing machines. I got there had to hunt down so one to help even though there were employees chatting it the department.     I just got back from Lowe's (Winchester, VA/ off 81 N location). I needed to get some wood for a home project and noticed the plywood I bought did not fit in my car.     We bought a new house and decided to get new floors.We bought hardwood floors from Lowes because they had a lifetime guarantee. The floors were installed at the end of May and throughout June, July, and August the floors cracked and split. We sent multiple complaints to Lowes however they refused to replace them.     I bought a Kobalt tool set from Lowes, the tools were in the back of my truck ( with a bed cover) I went through a heavy rain storm and the tools got wet. over the weekend I tried to dry them off and spray them with WD 40 and when I opened the box the sockets were covered with rust, not just discoloration but pitting and the chrome was coming off. I went to Lowes to see about their hassle free warranty and was told they were not covered. I recently remodeled my bathroom with the PSI in Kissimmee, fl. It was absolutely a smooth sailing experience. The person that sold me the remodel was very good in explaining how the program works and it was exactly as described. We had very little to do with the remodel and were not inconvenienced as we have been in the past with 2 other remodels. Their price was much better than other private contractors had quoted us including Re-Bath. I was very happy with the quality of work and I am very picky ;-) Great service experience for me and my husband. I guess it has everything to do with what location is doing the work.

Just wanted to share something with the WORLD about LOWES in Hurst Texas # 0533 and the store manger ( Matt Berry )he's not a good person....He's very sneaky as a person and will not confront you as a customer or as a employee he speaks around to other people to relay his message. Possible scam by Lowes? Purchased gas range and had issued with the propane conversion fitting according to the plumber Upon calling Lowes for product defect inquiry, they requested I call an 800 number. Once 800 number was called, a time was set for a service person to review the defect. The service person came by and basically stated there was no defect, but in fact "we must have improperly adjusted" the conversion fitting. He stated that this happens often and took approximately 10 minutes to "correct". We were told the service charge was $109 and we paid by check.

This appears to be somewhat of a scam since the "improper adjustment" is common and Lowes is aware but simply sells these appliances knowing a moderate % of their own customers must pay to have this issue corrected according to the plumber. I believe Lowes must either make their appliances sold in Hawaii with propane conversion already completed or make sure the manufacturer does not create conditions whereby reasonable person does not incur the $110 for “improper adjustment”.

Be aware of this when buying a gas-run appliances at Lowes.

Purchased a microwave, worked fine for about 3 months then started doing weird things. Lowes replaced by sending someone out with new one after 2 service calls failed. New microwave worked fine for about a week and now it makes really loud noise. UNSATISFIED.

EVEN the NEW saws at Lowes do not have the correct sizes anywhere on them. LOWES employees have to measrue the blades and write it on the inside of the saw for customers to eventually find when needed. I ran into the EXACT same problem and had to solve it myself. Lowes is NEVER any help. WE ARE ON OUR OWN

i have a task force band saw (10)inch and i am in need of a replacement band yet my local store (glasgow ky) says they cant help me..I was given this saw for christmas..I would like to keep this saw as it worked fine for my wood working...does lowes have replacement ..the item number on the data plate is 90181 can i get a replacement blade for my saw

I am writing in regard to my father, who lives in St Joseph Mo. He purchased a New Husqvarna riding mower, as well as additional parts, including a 48 inch snow blade and a grass catcher/bagger for over $2300.00 from Lowes here in St Joseph Mo. The snow blade had to be ordered. It came in, my father had to pay shipping for it. He unpacked it and the cable that is supposed to be included, was not packaged the way the rest of the items in the box were and he subsequently found it was the wrong part. He immediately contacted the Lowes where he purchased it. He did not get very good service and no real answers by phone, so he took his book, and the incorrect part in to explain in person. That is why I am writing. What kind of service is this Lowes store supposed to provide to a customer, who purchased something and through no fault of their own, did not receive all that was supposed to be in the package? He spoke to a manager, who said they have the part right there in the store, then they said sorry they can’t give it to him. There was something about a “yellow sheet” and it must be sent in, etc. Then he was told that they were so sorry, that they will put his name on the part and ship it right out to him. They took his information, but the part did not come. When he called back, he was given a whole new story. The next manager, “Dave” told my father that he was so sorry, they were shipping it on Monday,(that would be last week) and that it would come directly to my father’s home and “Dave” said he had the tracking number. This is the number my father was given: #wm52718. First of all, it is NOT a tracking number, and when I searched it on the internet it comes up as an invalid part number. So when the part never did arrive, my dad called again, this time, he got a different “Manager” named “Dennis” he told my father that the plant where this part ships from was “closed down for 4 days for the 4th of July”. When my dad said he didn’t believe that, they next said that it was closed down for 3 weeks for “inventory”. Also sounded like a bunch of “who shot John” or nonsense. It is a good thing dad didn’t wait until he needed the blade this winter to discover this error. That mower is sitting in the middle of his garage in his way. He wants to get it all ready for winter and can’t proceed because he is missing the needed 3 foot long cable. This is the missing part: Control Cable Assembly part number #49808 reference number 23

The lawn tractor is model number YTH20K46

The model number for the grass catcher/bagger is H246SL

And the model number for the 48 inch snow blade is 490-900B-0030

And below that number is this one 45-0429-669 This store seems unable to correct the situation in a timely manner. He will no doubt buy his items at a more reputable company where they send the correct parts and when they happen to make a mistake and leave out a needed part, they take care of their customers. Following up to be sure it is done promptly. Lying to customers and giving phony tracking information is unacceptable. We are all pretty upset that our father is being treated like this. Is Lowes the kind of company that wants to be associated with treating the elderly in this way? This behavior is just not acceptable.
