    The Lowes stores in our area are wonderful, with each salesperson more helpful than the next. The problem starts when you have a problem with an appliance you purchased. The service department seems to have a problem hiring reliable repair companies to work with them. Reliable means someone who calls to confirm they are coming, who answers the phone or returns calls when messages are left, who doesn't cancel a visit when on the way there they discover they should have ordered a special repair kit but did not.     I am 60 years old and went to enterprise store to get lava rocks which they kindly loaded also was told that they would load play sand at lumber end THIS DID NOT HAPPEN!!!!!! They bought them to front door and said HERE and walked AWAY, had it not been for and man in the parking lot I would never have been able to load this alone.   • Lowes did not communicate product was on back order...cost me a job

    On March 12th I placed an order for a pick on at a Lowes location. The website said pick up would be available on march 17th. On the 17th, the website said the order was ready for pickup. I called the location to verify the order was ready. The order was not only not ready, but it was on back order and no one cared to call me. Since no one told me it was on back order, I did not have time to source the item elsewhere in time. Lowes customer service didn't do anything to mitigate this.     I spent $1300. for porch blinds. from W.Waters Tampa Location. First the blind store expert mixed up my whole order between loop chains & wands for the same 5 panel install. Paid them on May 27 2015 blinds came for the install a month later. Found out the order was all wrong & the manufacturer Coolaroo sent 3 different colored types of hardware. Ugh! Waited another month. Blinds come in but they send an installer who showed up at night in the dark for the install.   • Picking up an order at Ft Payne Lowe's

    Ft Payne Lowe's had a rather scanty supply of organizers and shelving so we placed an order. Called on a Mon. and they said pick it up anytime. It took almost an hour for it to be found. Our prepaid order had been stocked for sale. Consequently, by the time we loaded our small order, another business and our bank had closed.   • INVERNESS, FL. STORE.... poor customer service

    I was told by your appliance salesman if I didn't buy an extended warranty to not bother complaining to him if my dryer broke. I understand how that works but your salesman was extremely rude about it. I will never buy another appliance from Lowes ! The very next day I needed paint so reluctantly I returned to the same store where I was greeted with sarcasim by the paint salesman when I asked for a stirrer for the paint I purchased.   • Lowes Carpeting

    Had carpet installed April 2012 in two rooms. Then the rolls started. I went to the store and told them my problem. So I must pay $ 35.00 to have someone come check out what is happening. Go back in to check and told "we don't stretch carpet past one year installation. I am 18 months... so asked what can I do ???     I am beginning to think that corporate needs to take a look at the Lowes at 71st and Olympia in Tulsa, OK. This is the second time I have had poor customer service there in the last 3 months, this time in the tile department.   • Poor customer service

    Found an item online that I liked. I drove about 35 minutes to the Lowes that they had 2 in stock. When I got there they were both gone. The man that helped me said that another store took them earlier in the day. It would have been nice to have updated the computer right away. He said they did but when I check before I left they were still available. Needless to say when I got home they changed it.   • Lowe's delivery

    I went to store 0207 in Centerville, ohio and bought a dishwasher and I wanted it to be delivered so the salesperson was nice and did his job with satisfaction the problem was delivery I had to wait almost 5 days to get the appliance and during that time I was told that the delivery team was overbooked with deliveries and I had to wait the next day my opinion is if you do not have enough drivers hire them ok plus I also notice that the store only had minimal coverage throughout what is going on here? is this throughout all Lowes stores or what if so I will not shop there again.     I'm not quite sure if this is the route to discuss the issue, but recently we were in Lowe's in Moore Ok. trying to find many different types of products. We asked the assistance of at least six to eight employees and the best we got was a 'point' in the general direction of the product. No one was willing to actually take us to the product, so we were in the store much longer than necessary. I made an appointment Sunday September 25, 2011 at the 15 & Yale location to have a representative come to my home and make measurements and pricing for new window.     I am doing some work in Missouri, and I was working in the hannibal missouri area, and purchasing my materials from lowes. In which I got a great deal on materials purchased, for i purchased some 4x8 sheetrock for $3.84 per sheet. But what I would like to know why it was when I went down to southern missouri a tthe next week on a new job, the sheetrock was more than double the price, and they would not match the price in Hannibal.     Every time I go into Lowes in Brewer,ME I like to use a hand basket. Each and every time there are no baskets at the entrance and I am directed to go down to the exit where they keep them.To travel half way through the store to get a basket, only to have to go back to the section that I entered at is frustrating.
