Kitchen planner error, abusive employee!
I am a small business owner, I remodel, paint and do installations. I have been a customer of Lowes since they opened. I was extremely disappointed yesterday at your Palm Coast Fl. Outlet with the treatment I received by one of your employees named Pasha in the kitchen planning dept. She made an error in a full kitchen order for my customers! The error was a simple fix, however she denied any responsibility, first trying to pass the blame on to me and then to my customers saying they changed the order. In any event she offered to correct it with the customer and split the cost. I went home and printed out the original plan that I was present for when she put it together, it showed the correct size cabinet,I returned to the store, I showed it to her, she called my a liar and started yelling at me to leave the store in front of other customers, she told me that Lowes didn%u2019t want my business! I was nothing but an installer and now she would never correct the problem for my customer. She ran from the Dept, leaving it full of waiting customers to get to the store Mgr. before I did, yelling at me all of the way! I spend 10s of thousands of dollars in Lowes every year, not to mention the customers that I send to Lowes to purchase their products based on my recommendation! I have never been treated like this by any Lowes employee and cannot believe her attitude. These customers will meet with the store manager today with the original kitchen plan. These customers went to Lowes kitchen planning based on my recommendation! I sat down with Pasha and my customer and we designed the kitchen, which by the way was a 20 thousand dollar sale. The customer went back and made some changes that had nothing to do with the upper cabinet in question which should have been the original size of 30 inch height! She embarrassed me in the store, yelling and telling me to get out, she told me that the manager would not speak to me and then I was approached by a man that said he was the manager , while I showed him the print out of her design, she continued shouting over me until I asked the Mgr to send her back to her Dept.He sent her away and told me to send my customer in as they would not talk with me, the problem would have to be resolved with the customer. Hopefully the real Store Mgr. will be there today and it will be clearly evident based on Pashas original footprint that it was in error. As for her behavior and the treatment I received, I would expect that something should be done about this employee! I can take all of my business elsewhere, Home Depot is across the street. There seems to be attitude problems with several employees at this store, however there are mostly good people that treat customers with respect! I would also like to add that this same Pasha, after telling my customer and myself that it was nice to have the installer sitting down for the planning because Lowes installers were idiots, and my customer can verify that! She then tried to offer them a discount when I wasn%u2019t there, to use a Lowes installer, knowing full well that these people were my customers. I have a project on line right now that will require 4 kitchens and 8 bathrooms, I doubt I will be using this Lowes outlet after this incident. I will continue to use Lowes for my Seminole and Volusia county business as they are more customer oriented and realize that contractors like my self are in fact sales reps for your products! This letter went completely unanswered and no indication that they will rectify the problem employee! My business just went elsewhere!
