Lowes did not communicate product was on back order...cost me a job


On March 12th I placed an order for a pick on at a Lowes location. The website said pick up would be available on march 17th. On the 17th, the website said the order was ready for pickup. I called the location to verify the order was ready. The order was not only not ready, but it was on back order and no one cared to call me. Since no one told me it was on back order, I did not have time to source the item elsewhere in time. Lowes customer service didn't do anything to mitigate this. All I got was a "sorry"...at least I got that. I will not be able to do my job monday, which pushes it another week which is costing me thousands because a simple call from lowes to tell me the itme was on back order wasn't made and their website gave wrong information. The website will not even allow me to select the angry rating...forces me to only hit the green smiley face. What a crock of crap lowes is.
