Selective reviews on the Lowes site... - Reviews from the Lowes Company
Beware of the reviews that are posted on the Lowe's site !
I have submitted two (mediocre) reviews to the Lowe's site regarding the lack of oil plug at the bottom of my Bolens mowers. (1)
Despite the fact that these reviews were within the guidelines for publishing, they were both rejected for no good reason except that they were critical of the product.
This displays selectiveness and makes the reviews published by the Lowe's site unreliable (at best).
Furthermore, I will try very hard from now on to steer away from the chain.
(1) Indeed my new Bolens mower does not have a plug at the bottom of the deck. In all likelihood, the company saves less than a buck by-passing the plug. The necessary procedure is now to 1 - drain the gas tank - 2 - place the mower upside-down and drain the oil via the filling spout. Seriously ?
